not your spice

human entity... most of the time. unhuman times are induced by sleep deprivation, brain overload or circumstances of life.

look at the medusa straight on.: on "loving your body."

onegirlrhumba:

i’m sick and fucking tired of pretending that “loving your body” and rejecting fat-shaming on an individual level does anything to change issues relating to beauty and thin privilege, or that it has any effect on the institutions and structures that perpetuate them. it does nothing to change the…

Very true. The question remains where do institutions start, how can they be influenced?

Kristen Stewart’s awkward dress matches her awkward staring.

Will this bitch please do her fucking job FOR ONCE? I know that half the time she’s probably high so she has no idea what’s going on and the other half of the time she doesn’t want to smile because she has that weird small mouth that looks awky when she smiles, but you know what? You’re making millions of dollars being one of the most mediocre actresses in Hollywood. Make the effort or GTFO, you pressed bitch.

this dress is all kinds of unfortunate but ordering women to smile is maybe my least favorite thing

So am I the only one with questions about how much agency she actually has in a career that started when she was 9? I think it’s entirely possible that she has hated this for years, but now she feels like she has no way out of the business.

i saw a quote where she was saying that red carpets are still extremely overwhelming and anxiety inducing, to the point where she wants to cry. the dress aint all that, but come on now, why are we really demanding her to “do her job”. and yea, the tag says it all, i never see anyone pleading with non-smiling men on red carpets to “do their job”.

To quote, Kristen Stewart: smiling is not an obligation, professional or otherwise.
Stewart is often a target of a specific kind of body policing: the “smile, baby” requirement. When she appears on the red carpet and does not assure us with her teeth that she is simply thrilled to be reduced to a presence, a dress, a posture, she is often the target of harassment for her expression. There is an expectation of women in general and famous woman in particular to always assure the onlooker that they are happy to be looked upon through smiling, and Stewart rejects this.
Stop policing the way she presents herself. For fuck sakes.

I’ve never had an opinion either way about Kristin Stewart before but now I freaking love her. You go, girl.

NOT SMILING. because it’s my friggin right.

I don’t even know anymore. Just read the fucking article.

…I can’t.

This is like saying an acorn is a tree.

Can we just make Arizona secede from the US

it’s not like they have valuable natural resources or anything, right?

no, the bill furthers it.

you could be a person two weeks before your parents banged.

wow

Someone tell me why America keep coming up with THE most stupidest laws known to man?

Unless they are as damaged as they are beautiful.

unless they are gorgeous. load of bullcrap. women go to medical school because they have the right to and want to. it’s not all about looks. RAAAAAGE.
